Watercolor burning CANDLE with light flares - simple winter mood painting

Watercolor burning CANDLE with light flares - simple winter mood painting This video is demonstration of how I painted a burning candle with light flares in an winter mood.

It is simple painting and I wanted to make an impression of rough background slightly lit with candle which is also making light flares.

This time I did not use masking fluid, but painted the negative space - background.

I hope you will enjoy it and if you do please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel because I am planning a lots more interesting videos. :)

....

To paint it I used:

***Paper : Centenaire cold pressed watercolor paper 300gsm or 140lb, size 18 x 26 cm or 7 x 10 1/4 ins

***Watercolors : brand St. Petersburg - White nights
Cadmium Yellow Medium, Madder Lake Red Light, Raw Sienna, Sepia

I also used white gouache which I prefer over white watercolor because it is opaque...

***Brushes: Raphael Softaqua Flat No 12 and 22 from 915 series
Dainayw Round brush No 2, 8 and 8
Betail brush

....

***Music used in the video:
Tonto by Silent Partner
