In this episode of Frame Data, we’re going to take a trip back to Yoshi’s Story, this time looking at Game 2 of the Top 32 set between Westballz and S2J at The Roast of Hugo Gonzalez. In Episode 3, we briefly discussed some of the intricacies of Yoshi’s Story - specifically how Randall can create interesting situations by presenting a moving platform and a new set of recovery options. This breakdown will discuss another hazard of Yoshi’s Story, and how this one pesky Shy Guy turned the tide of the match in S2J’s favor.
