DIY Transom to Bow Mounted Trolling Motor Conversion

This is a conversion of a transom mounted trolling motor to a bow mounted set up. The transom trolling motor was used because of the variable speed control with reverse that most bow mounted trolling motors do not have. I also needed to mount a trolling motor that utilized a small space on the front deck.

Minn Kota Traxxis 12V 55lb 42" shaft variable speed trolling motor
Aluminum bow mount (FishOn Fabrications)
Toggler brand 1/4" x 20 toggle bolts
Miscellaneous 1/4" x 20 stainless steel bolts
Marine rated adhesive backed weather stripping
Stainless steel cable (tether)
Eyebolt
