Noted Educationist Tabu Ram Taid passes away at 77

Noted Educationist & Author from Assam Tabu Ram Taid is no more.
He breathed his last on Saturday morning at around 7:30 am at a private hospital in Guwahati.
Tabu Taid was suffering from fever and had been experiencing some respiratory problems for a brief period. Taid was 77.
Tabu Ram Taid had been active in preserving his native tribal language, Mising.
In 1972, he founded the Mising Agom Kebang, serving until 1980 as its president.
