About Jawa Perak
The bobber-style motorcycle is powered by a 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor, which makes 30PS and 31Nm. Transmission duties are handled by a six-speed gearbox. It features a blacked out theme and has a tan-coloured single seat, blacked out engine, exhaust and spoke wheels. The instrument console features a minimalistic design and has just the speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge. It gets the same double cradle frame as the other two Jawas but gets a longer swingarm. The front gets telescopic forks while the rear has a monoshock. Braking is via front and rear disc brakes with ABS as standard. The Perak is priced at Rs 1.94 lakh (ex-Delhi)

It has taken Jawa 12 months to launch the Perak, the company's first factory custom bobber. Derived from the standard Jawa, the Perak gets a revised design, a larger motor and slightly better components. It has been launched at Rs 1.94 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), which is Rs 5,000 more than what Jawa had quoted for the bike 12 months ago. Jawa will start accepting bookings for the bike from January 1. The 334cc liquid cooled single cylinder motor is larger than the Jawa and Jawa Forty Two's 293cc motor. It also makes more power and torque than the other two bikes at 30PS and 31Nm. While it gets the same 6-speed gearbox and double cradle frame from the other two Jawas, the Perak features a longer swingarm. There’s a telescopic fork at the front while the rear features a monoshock. Braking is via front and rear disc brakes with ABS as standard.
