GRACE: WHO GETS IT?
Grace is for the Bride of CHRIST who is fully surrendered, repentant and pursuing the LORD in INTIMACY filled with the HOLY SPIRIT (FULL OIL LAMP) and in the Will of the FATHER through the Salvation of CHRIST’s sacrifice on the cross. This Bride is surrendered and daily being “sanctified.” There’s a word that gets thrown around a lot—it means being made HOLY through the direction of the HOLY SPIRIT day by day… As the Bride is on this daily walk with CHRIST toward holiness she receives “GRACE” as she makes her way along. The lukewarm church (also called the church of Lot’s wife) may have accepted JESUS as their SAVIOUR at one point (perhaps a Billy Graham event) and is attending a lukewarm church even, and involved in some rote worship routine, but still has a firm grasp on the world’s hand. The Bible says this is the partially full oil lamp virgin who gets shut out by the BRIDEGROOM. She goes back for oil and it’s too late for her after HE comes for the Bride with the full oil lamps. She does not receive “GRACE”. Why not? Because if she found herself suddenly standing before GOD at that point as lukewarm she would be spit out of CHRIST’s mouth so says the Bible. That is NOT “GRACE”. And all though she said her I DOs at one point she is also still firmly engaging with the world moving back toward the world as lukewarm, so she is ONCE SAVED NOT ALWAYS SAVED. Her initial intensions may have been to be saved but her follow through relationally with CHRIST puts her outside of GRACE and in serious shape….Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV): 21 Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
