School opening date rescheduled The opening of schools for the third term has been pushed forward by a week after the ministry of education accepted a request by the Kenya national bureau of statistics to avoid coinciding with this year's population census.
A statement released by education principal secretary Dr. Belio Kipsang' says all schools will now open on 2nd September and close on 25th October to enable census enumerators to capture accurate and quality data of all students.
