Learn the Extended Single Crochet in Under 5 minutes Extended Single Crochet Stitch

Welcome back to With Love, Leisha!
In this video, I teach you how to crochet the Extended Single Crochet stitch, in under 5 minutes. This stitch is perfect for beginners because it's fairly simple and easy to learn, but it looks so pretty and complex. It would be a beautiful stitch to use to make pouches and purses, scarves, hats, and so much more.

Hook: I'm using a 6.0 mm size J crochet hook
Yarn: Mulberry color in Red Heart Yarns Super Saver

A Note About Learning Crochet:
Crochet is a skill and a craft. Like any craft and skill, it takes patience, perseverance, and practice to learn. So be kind to yourself as you learn a new craft. Your muscles are gaining new muscle memory, as your brain learns to send the right signals while trying to memorize and process loads of info at the same time. Don't hesitate to slow down the video and rewind and pause as much as you need to - the beauty of YouTube right? That's how I learned, and it's how I continue to learn. That and a lot of caffeine :-0 Crochet is a field of infinite knowledge. There will always be something new for you to learn. I still follow the advice I'm giving you. There are times I get frustrated, as you might. Take a deep breath, step away for some time if you need to, let your brain absorb and recharge. Then, come back and try again after a bit. You'll get there, I promise. ;-) You'll be crocheting like a pro in no time.

Now, grab your crochet hook and your drink of choice, and let's get to it!
