Today we are trying Durian from the Philippines. These come from Davao City. We've had Thai Durian from both North and South Thailand (Monthong), as well as durian from Malaysia (Penang durian). Personally, I've had durian from Singapore (Durian that is brought over the boarder from Southern Malaysia). Malaysian durian was really strong and bitter and super sulfuric. My favorite has always been Sweet and plump Monthong. But today, I try something that comes very close...!! OMG!!! Maybe one day I'll get to visit the Philippines and try all the yummy Filipino food. Although you'll have a hard time pulling me out of Jollibee -- the BEST Fried chicken fast food place in the world. Now I want Jollibee as I type this :(
