The power of coaching ‘The Prosperous Coach Steve Chandler and Rich Litvin book review

A superb book for anyone interested in the power of coaching or just wanting to improve their communication and business skills. #theprosperouscoach is a great #coachingbook and really clearly, confidently written. It’s narrated by the authors Steve Chandler and Rich Litvin which adds a certain something and is always good in an audiobook.

Some of the advice on how to be a coach - not being overly available and taking time to be fully present in order to give people an incredible experience when you coach them is invaluable. Set your bar high, set audacious and challenging goals, be bold, be honest, take the lead, slow things down. You are not just paid for your time but your years of experience, the books you’ve read, the mistakes you’ve learnt from.

I highly recommend this and I really enjoyed the short, to the point chapters which are properly titled in the audible version as well which is another bonus

Of the 70 odd books I’ve read this year this is one of the best and certainly the best on coaching by some way
