Mai Khao Marine Turtle Foundation Released 40 Green Turtles In honour of H.M. King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun's Birthday
Phuket, Thailand – 27 July 2019: Hundreds of well-wishers, Phuket residents, guests of JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa, gathered at the hotel’s beachfront and released 40 green turtles in celebration of H .M. King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun's Birthday (Rama X) together today. The sea turtles, which are seen as a symbol of long life ran, to live their new life in the Ocean. Thai believed that releasing captive animals helps gain best luck and bring the prosperity to our life.
