We fly from SF to Reykjavik (Iceland), then to Zurich (Switzerland). From there we take a train to Lucerne, explore it, and get on another train to Como, Italy. (The train takes you straight through the alps, and you are in complete darkness.) We check out Como, then back to Zurich, then Iceland, then home.
EXPLORING THE SWISS ALPS AND NORTHERN ITALY
