Top 15 States Ranked By Total Number of Miss Indias (1947 - 2018)

This video ranks Indian States from 1947 to 2018 on the basis of total number of Miss Indias (both Miss India World and Miss India Universe) that have come from that state.

The Miss India Pageant is organised by Femina, a women's magazine published by The Times Group. Initially, there was just one competition - the winner of which was called Miss India. She was sent to the International Miss Universe Competition and the first runner up was sent to Miss World Competition. After India did so well in 1994, Femina changed the rules to pick three winners of equal stature who would be treated as Miss India World, Miss India Universe and Miss India Earth - sending representatives to the respective international pageants.
