Salesforce provides developer tooling to standardize and simplify deployments. However, when projects become larger than a few developers, using changesets becomes too disorganized, and sandbox deployments can queue back to back waiting for each other to complete, resulting in long wait times. Enter Heroku CI! In this session, we will walk through setting up Heroku to serve as the CI system for Salesforce, using review apps to standardize acceptance testing, and deploying to target sandboxes through Heroku. All of this enables developers to think less about moving metadata between orgs and to focus on what really matters: maximizing the value that end users see from Salesforce.
