Opposition leader Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri and other opposition lawmakers took to the Parliament lobby to voice out their dissatisfaction over the decision to refer Pasir Salak MP Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman to the Parliament's Rights and Privileges Committee over his racially sensitive remark on Hindu religion.
Ismail Sabri said Barisan Nasional will not argue about Tajuddin's statement, adding that the latter had already apologised and was suspended for two days, so the opposition questioned why the motion was brought up again during Thursday’s session.
