Authorities: Bank robbery suspect arrested in Monsey; used threat of explosives A suspect wanted in a bank robbery in Rockland County in January has been arrested in Monsey.

The FBI and U.S. Attorney’s Office confirms that Yosef Ziegler was taken into custody Tuesday morning.

Ziegler is wanted for a robbery of a Chase branch in Pomona. He is also wanted for a bank robbery in Park Ridge, New Jersey last April.

In both cases, officials say he told tellers he had explosives when he demanded cash. In the New Jersey case, he allegedly claimed to be carrying a bomb in a pizza delivery box.

Sources say Ziegler was tracked down to a home in Monsey with the help of surveillance images. They believe he may be responsible for other robberies.
