When Mayberry's labor wasn't going well, I decided it was time to investigate, and she needed a little help birthing the kid. I made some mistakes, but as you can see, mother and baby were both fine. Don't be afraid to interfere if the goat is in trouble - it's better to help a little too soon and too often than too late - but try to find someone with more experience, or get a livestock veterinarian's advice.
