PILEATED PAIR PECKS and PEERS at the CAMERA

PILEATED PAIR PECKS and PEERS at the CAMERA Our local Pileated Woodpecker pair are often seen foraging together. I love how the male keeps disappearing, then popping back up into the frame to peer straight into the camera lens. It's almost as if he's suspicious of our being there. Cracks me up!
Dang - I wish I had captured this footage with a higher resolution camera! I should just stop using my older trail cams altogether and purchase a few higher resolution model cameras for replacements. (Trail cameras are just like potato chips. Bet you can't have just one.)
