When it comes to emergencies and fractures there are three things that stick out to me: 1. Open fractures
2. Subluxations/Dislocations
3. Neurovascular compromise
There are also some fractures that don't initially show up on x-ray:
1. Scaphoid fracture
2. Radial head fracture
3. MTP fracture
