Bannag (that which flows under): A poem

Bannag (that which flows under): A poem Hello! Been a while ☺️

thank you for clicking on this video!

I wrote this last month as a personal project sum’n-sum’n to my native tongue, Ibanag, which is rarely known/heard these days since it was buwan ng wika last august anddd yea im well aware this is quite overdue 😭 but still ✨

Incidentally, at the time I started writing this, I felt so much dread about where my life was taking me and what my luck (or the lack thereof) at finding a job has gotten me (yes nothing so far 😭 but still hoping). You can say i felt so useless and worthless and pressured and stuff. But putting together this poem somehow made sense of a little part in my life and I can say it has made all the difference in most of it. Didn’t know adulting (and dreading one’s own existence) could be this difficult—I had to write a poem about it!

I hope you enjoyed watching this video 💖 I also hope I’ll be able to upload more of these in the coming weeks of my life gaahh
