It's time to bust your stash again with Bling, a fat quarter-friendly quilt that is part of the Stashin' with Stephanie series. This pattern was designed with Social by Melody Miller of Ruby Star Society for Moda Fabrics. The line is a mix of big bold prints, and small supporting blenders. So the block features one large diamond and five smaller ones surrounded by a sashing strip to give the eye a place to rest.
If you haven't done 60-degree diamonds before, this quilt is a great introduction to them. The techniques are not too challenging for first-timers and we go over how to cut all your pieces, sew them together into blocks and then how to join your rows on the diagonal.
Seriously, this video is super thorough and gives you everything you need to know except the measurements ... those are in the Bling pattern, which is available in crib, lap, twin and queen sizes.
