HOSPITAL ROAD NOW A NO PARKING ZONE

Castries Mayor Peterson Francis has dismissed reports that residents in the Faux Ax Chaux have bene hostile to him after the CCC decided to clamp down on illegal parking in the area. This is one of several measures undertaken by the CCC to restore law and order in the city.
Castries Mayor Peterson Francis says the law which prohibits parking in certain areas in the city and environs have always been there. One area of special concern has been the parking on either side of Hospital road making it difficult or even impossible for an ambulance or any other emergency vehicle to travel that road. The CCC has decided to clamp down on this illegal activity and there have been reports that residents are not happy about it. But the Mayor says there has been no hostility towards him. He says if anything disastrous should occur because of the illegal parking there he will have to bear the brunt of the blame.
The Mayor says he is simply enforcing the law
