#Hilotherapy is a thermal-enabled therapy that promotes the healing of operated tissue by limiting inflammation and bruising while still permitting the body's natural lymphatic drainage process. It is used for surgical procedures, injuries and chronic diseases that can produce swelling, hemorrhages, edema and inflammation. Hilotherapy not only promotes healing in the FFS postop process but also reduces pain intensity, thus lessening the need for analgesics.
