A flying car prototype built by Japan's NEC Corporation recently took a test flight. It didn't soar to mighty heights, rising only about 10 feet in the air. The car has four horizontal propellers and works like a drone. Contraptions like this will initially be used for unmanned deliveries. Reportedly, Japan aims to start using them in about five years, while manned use is projected to begin around the year 2030. Perhaps the world of "The Jetsons" isn't so far off.
