EV prices, Hyundai Ioniq 38kwh UK price, i30N Fastback test & ICE price comparisons Continuing the journey and consideration as to what comes next, I've tested the Hyundai I30N Fastback. Wow what an incredible hot hatch / fastback. Smiles and fun by the ton.

This isn't a review thereof but it starts the discussion about what and why, making sense of the current options.

During my visit to the Hyundai dealer I glimpsed the prices for the new Ioniq Electric and as expected prices have increased putting the Ioniq on par with the Kona 39 in my Premium form but in Premium SE it's just a few thousand pounds behind the Kona 64 Premium SE.

This visit to the dealer and test drive has helped solidify my thoughts on what comes next after the Kona. It needs to be special and engaging to drive or it needs a big compromise.

ps. if you think it's too long, you try editting out all this quality content 😉
