Residents of Mapusa and surrounding areas have complained that they are facing severe hardships due to water shortages which they allege was due to poor distribution. Locals staged a morcha to the office of the Mapusa PWD office to protest against water shortage in their localities, they demanded immediate release of water, failing which they threatened to intensify the agitation.
