Which Electric Skateboard/Longboard/Scooter Should You Buy?

Should you only ride share/borrow/rent a scooter to use or take an Uber or Lyft ride or should you buy your own car, take public transportation or purchase your own skateboard/longboard/scooter that may or may not be electric to get you to the places that you need to go to?
