Along with signing into law Alabama's most restrictive abortion ban, which risks the overturn of Roe v Wade if taken up by the Supreme Court, Ivey voted for and backed Roy Moore even when he was facing serious and credible allegations of child molestation. She even went as far to say that she believed Moore's accusers but still voted for him. She also supported Brett Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court despite facing serious allegations of sexual assault.
