EP 44: Can I Change The Terms Of My Sales And Purchase Agreement (SPA)?

The Sales and Purchase Agreement is a contract given by the developer to the buyer usually after the initial deposit is paid. It is a legal binding agreement that specifies the terms of sale.

The terms are fixed and are not subjected to negotiation. For clients who would like to err on the side of caution, we will recommend that they request a copy of the SPA before committing to the purchase.

When dealing with major developers who are experienced in selling to foreign buyers, the SPA does usually come in the English version.
