The Ego 21" 56-Volt Cordless Electric Self Propelled Lawn Mower with Peak Power (dual battery) is the latest all electric lawnmower in the Ego lineup. Up until now Ego has only offered their lawnmowers with a single 5.0Ah or 7.5Ah battery. This model (LM2142SP) is Ego's first mower to allow you to combine the power of two batteries for unprecedented run time. Ego is known for making the claim that their tools offer the power of gas without the hassle, fumes or fuss that comes with gas tools. In this review I run this mower head to head with my Toro 6.5HP lawnmower and put this claim to the test and see if this lawnmower does indeed perform comparably to gas. I also cover all the features of the mower to give you as complete a picture as I can to help you see just what this Ego mower has to offer.
