Early vs Late Entry - What's the Difference and Which is Best?
Early vs late entry whats the difference and which is the best under specific circumstances. I have for you 4 different scenarios; first one is a double bottom, second is a head and shoulders, third is a bearish engulfing candle and number four we have a pullback after an uptrend.
Missing Entries, Entering Trades Late
An early signal for a double bottom would be to take it before the chart pattern fully completes. The advantage of this is of course you pay less and get a better price but you don't really know if you're right.
To conclude it is all about the context of where you see the moves. It shouldn't be a problem taking an early entry or late entry as long as it matches the conditions, structure and setup you're trading.
