After you’ve registered using the Kia Access with UVO link app, you can change your preferred Kia dealer and you can also set customized service alerts.

Having a Preferred Dealer allows you to send service information and schedule service appointments directly with your preferred Kia dealership.

Here’s how it works …
You can run a diagnostic check from the UVO menu, and if an issue is detected, you can set an appointment and send the diagnostic information directly to a participating Kia dealership.
Host:
This helps Kia owners communicate with their vehicles -- and their local, participating dealerships -- to properly diagnose and maintain their vehicles.
Host VO:
After running a diagnostic check, you will then have the option to schedule service.
To scheduling an appointment, press the SCHEDULE SERVICE button …
And then you will see this screen, offering your choice of a Preferred or Nearest Kia dealership.
Host:
Pressing the Preferred button will allow you to request an appointment with your preferred Kia dealership, and it will automatically send your vehicle diagnostic information. If you are traveling, and not near your preferred dealer, you can also select the Nearest button to send the diagnostic data to the nearest dealership to your current location.
HOST (VO)
You can locate the preferred dealer setting from the app; at the bottom of the screen, select MORE, and from that menu, go to Maintenance, and you will see the Preferred Dealer at the top of the screen.
To change the preferred Dealer, select the gear or setting icon at the top.
This will take you to a local map, where you can then select the dealer you prefer, then select “USE THIS DEALER” to change the preference.

With local and preferred dealer settings, Kia UVO offers new levels of convenience and connectivity.
