Simpson Strong Walls for Lateral Shear | Seismic Retrofit Case Sturdy

In this case study, we take a look at the importance of lateral protection on a perpendicular angle on a #SeismicRetrofit of an apartment building in Los Angeles - in this project, our engineers developed a solution using steel shear panels from #SimpsonStrongTie to provide additional protection than what is required on the local retrofit ordinance. Over 80% of plans we've seen completely ignore this issue and do not address it.
