The Uk’s first solar powered ‘smart bench’ has been installed in Norwich city centre, on a twelve month trial period. The venture, a partnership between the Norwich Business Improvement District, The Forum and Dereham based firm Westcotec, will see the bench placed outside the Forum centre. The bench allows people sitting upon it to charge their phones and connect to wifi free of charge, and our reporter Amie-Beth Steadman went to check it out.
