Karate in Japan | TOKYO DIARIES | A traditional tourist experience

Karate in Japan | TOKYO DIARIES | A traditional tourist experience Experiencing Karate in Tokyo and discovering a more traditional side of Japan! Karate Dojo Waku is the only Karate Dojo in Japan that holds classes inside a Japanese temple. It was a truly unique experience that gave us insight into the traditions and history surrounding Karate. Karate originated in Okinawa and in 1933 it was formally recognised as a Japanese martial art. Thank you to Yusuke from Karate Dojo Waku for our Karate training in Japan! Trying Karate in Tokyo is definitely one of the more traditional things you can do as a tourist while exploring Japan!

Welcome to another episode of Tokyo Diaries! During this video we try a beginner class in Karate, wear traditional Karate uniform, and learn the first Kata of Heian Shodan, and learn how to break a wooden board!!

🥋You can also Experience Karate in Tokyo with KARATE DOJO WAKU 🥋

Experience this on Air BnB
